I'll be heading for the Los Angeles area, (Claremont) during Christmas and you can bet I will want to look for some. The Santa Monica's might be a little far since I don't have a car but will give it a try. I will also plan on hiding some as well but probably more up in the foothills area. Keep up the good work.

[John De Wolf] It would be really hard to get to the trail head for Circle X w/o a car, I think.  LA seems to be one of those cities where a car is almost indispensible.  Circle X and Mugu Pk involve decent hikes.  Palos Verdes is quite a bit easier to get to, althoug you'll prolly still need some transportation to get to the trail head.  Good luck, Squirrel.

 And if I can just get a free weekend I still hope to get to Penn and find at least one or two of the Lone Wolf Boxes. Keep hiding, we'll come.
